As a little girl, I attended Wildwood Childcare Center and came to truly love this childcare. The directors were dedicated to the families and children, and the teachers loved each child as their own. I knew even as a young girl that this was something special. When I began college, I was hired as an afternoon teacher at Wildwood. I graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Elementary Education and received my license to teach. I worked at Clinton Park as an Assistant Teacher for 1 1/2 years before taking off the rest of the year for maternity leave. While I stayed home with my newborn, I found that God was heavily telling me to reopen the childcare at Wildwood Baptist Church. I am beyond excited to say that in January of 2017, Wildwood Childcare Center opened its doors once again. God has continually blessed our center and has helped me grow emotionally and spiritually.
