Ones
Our Ones room at Wildwood Preschool is open to those children that have begun walking. As these little ones start moving, our childcare staff is excited to help them develop in their independence while still providing the loving care and affection they need. Wildwood Childcare Center encourages those in this age group to explore and discover new things!
Children in our Ones Program eat from our monthly menu. If a child cannot eat what is on the weekly menu, a doctor’s note must be provided based on health dept regulations.
Each child will receive daily sheets to let parents know how the day went, this includes: diaper changes, type of diapers they had, nap times, what they ate, and any other notes the preschool teacher may want the parent to know.
What to Bring
At this age children begin to sleep on nap mats instead of cots. These mats must be provided by the parents, but is carried through every progressive classroom. Please make sure all items are clearly labeled with names, including the nap mat.
- Nap mat and blanket
- Sippy cups
- Change of clothes
- Diapers and wipes
- One comfort item is allowed for nap time only
