Daycare Hours
Wildwood Childcare Center cares for children in Clinton, Mississippi from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. To prevent interruptions during our lessons, drop off each day must be done by 8:30 AM. Wildwood also provides after school care from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Arrival and Departure
Each child must be accompanied by a guardian to their childcare classroom each morning. You are responsible for signing your child in/out of the daycare center every day. If you fail to do so, your account will be charged in the amount of $5 for each occurrence.
You must complete the pick-up authorization section of the enrollment form. We ask that you come to the office if any changes need to be made to your child’s pick-up authorization form. No one will be allowed to pick up your child if they do not have authorization. Every person on your list MUST stop at the office to show ID before going to get your child. We will not release a child to anyone who is suspected to be under the influence and we will be forced to call the authorities.
In the case of an emergency, please call the office to notify the preschool directors so that a late fee will not be charged to your account before 6:05 p.m. However, if you do not call we will charge $1.00 to your account every minute after closing. At 6:30 pm, if your child is still in our care, he/she will be taken to the police department and we will call DHS.
Late Drop Off/Absent Policy
Parents must contact the daycare center director stating the absence of their child. If a child has not been dropped off at the center at their normal time (without notifying the director), we will contact the parents/guardians. To prevent interruptions during our lessons, your child will not be allowed to come to our center after 8:30 am unless they have a doctor’s excuse or have contacted the childcare director beforehand. You will be responsible for your child’s breakfast if they arrive at our center after 8:15 am.
Vacation Policy
If your child has been enrolled in our daycare program for a consecutive 6 months and have no outstanding balance, you are entitled to a 5 day tuition free vacation week. Your child may not attend the center during vacation week, and a two week notice must be given before taking the vacation week.
After School Holiday Policy
Wildwood Preschool knows how difficult it is to find good childcare during holidays and teacher workdays. We extend our afterschool program to full days during holidays and breaks. During those holidays (Summer, Spring Break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), parents/guardians are required to pay the full-time weekly fee.
Severe Weather Policy
In case of severe weather, you will be notified of preschool closures. We will follow Clinton Public Schools’ closures. This will ensure safety for all our families and daycare staff who attend our childcare center.
